Ah I am so Not Ready for 2010.
我不是无动于衷，
我只是
把心中的不舍全都埋在心底了，
不让它再浮现
I think I like My Sister's Keeper (only some parts of it though) mainly because it shows the power of a little girl, her perseverance and courage and the greatness she could achieve. And it also reminds me that I have Rights.
Year 2010 is like, tomorrow.
The first thing that occurred to me was wow, it doesn't even feel like new year's eve. And then, because of my lovely calendar which told me I wasn't dreaming, I started wondering about what I had done to deserve 2009 - yes, both the good and bad lah- and then the nostalgia of 31st december 2008 started to kick in with full force, only harder this time.

okay sorry for the 'fricking' but yeah seriously I am like so not ready to be the seniorest in rgs and it only feels like yesterday that I was learning the austrian song with 111'07, and although next year we officially get the best view at the amphi steps whenever a huge event comes up like founder's day/SLI/blah and we no longer have to lean over the parapet and get chided for Dangerously Dangling our arms over the not-so-clean railings, I really miss being the youngest. Even when we got some very excellent screening of SLI in the kschee/had to walk all the way to jblk/couldn't tell apart blk E and D, -ohman- how I wish I was still sec1! Or maybe sec2. Sec2s get more excitement in their lives heheh, quite a bit more actually. But sec1, was a year in which mistakes I made seldom impacted our lives significantly, and it was also a year in which I didn't have to make many choices- most of them were made at the end of P6, and nobody gets to drop stuff in sec2 uhhhh so ahwell. As much as I like having the liberty to choose stuff for myself, sometimes I'd rather not be given a choice and just shun4 qi2 zi4 ran2. But that's only sometimes.
Well whatever it is, I will admit here that I have changed very much from sec1 to now, and not always for the better.... ehehehh uh one of the changes includes the reaction to grades starting with the numbers 6 or 7, I remember how I used to freak out over a 70+ and now I'm like, stone "okay at least it's a 3.6 -weird gnawing at the heart-" okay but aiyah, loads to improve loads to improve.
Because I am not going to recount my life story here, I shan't say more about changes :D and TOO BAD if you don't know muahaha

omg haha they were soooo sweet yesterday!
okay before I go into details of the "ten,ten,ten ten" I shall recount my VBD (Very Busy Day) of 29th december. gosh.
CCAO in the morning! eeesh this year don't have booth tour so weird, end up only some people came to visit co booth, but okay lah the crowd wasn't very small and actually quite a number of people tried the instruments (esp. erhu! :D) so yay. Performance (yaozu) was.. uh... not bad but obviously could be much better. things like paizi, yinzhun weren't totally satisfactory at all times but at the very least (:/) we pulled through! hahaha zhaoyunan would remember the major headaches during dazu when we were carrying out the zheng3 jiu4 gong1 cheng2 on yaozu xD can say the performance was a great improvement from dazu on 28th lor, but on the whole, Lots To Improve (: muahaha xianyue you're in for a
Then when we were back in the co classroom we started photo spree, and tanwenyun jiaqian and esther came back! then ccao comm screened the '08 concert video in the classroom which made mango, rambutan and banana respond in awe and wonderment~ haha trying to play tianshan was major fail, can't play the front part properly already HAHA and molou was even worse we sounded more eerie than we actually wanted to HAHA OMG PHAIL YINZHUN. xD but it was seriously amazing how we managed to pull it off -quotes mango- and yeah I agree with her. I can remember all the chiongings and super long (and interesting :D) holiday pracs we had last year before 20th july... speaking of which next year we'll probably be going through the same thing, but the whole feeling for batch'10 is very obviously going to be different.
On a very happy note, batch'10 (with the exception of tingyewjing who's in turkey now :O so cool!) sat down for a nice little chat about handling xianyue stuff (: hahaa we made the juniors go off for lunch at far east first then we arrived there 1hr later than them :D okay sorry juniors, important matters come first! :D anyway I'm so glad I have my batchmates, though our batch might be puny and fun-sized (of course we're fun people! duh) when put together we have the power of, uh, I don't know. An elephant. okay uh maybe a BOMB. BOOMZ. anyway bottomline, I love you xianyue batch'10 (: <3>
SMP! okay so right after 1pm I hopped into dad's car which drove me to s'pore poly for smp wheee (thanks dad) smp encourages a super healthy (and fruity) lifestyle because every time after working on fruits we have extra left, so we get to eat all of them up :D and the fruits we have are either exotic or nice. Exquisite experience eating a buah dong dong (direct translation to english: the Dong Dong Fruit (?!?!)) or a buah salak (idk the direct translation. Salak Fruit??) yup. and apparently purple and yellow passionfruit both have yellow flesh. okay I now know so many fruit names I'm feel quite high. Okay I should hurry up finish this post because I need to go out for SMPPPPP
WEDDING!!! omg I was almost late meeting fedele at vivo because I had to rush from smp, but it's okay yay very fun. When I saw the whole of fedele I was like OMGGG because seriously everybody turned extremely girly (except lynn dear xD but you looked damn cool yo!) in skirts and dresses and low cut stuff and THREE INCH HIGH HEELS and MAKE UP and more, so I was like O_O WOAH. But yeah the whole throng of chiobus walked up and down and met mr limey(as in, Mr Lim E Y) at the bus stop.
And then it became quite hilarious because he was telling huiyi nanny laura and me and whoever behind the throng that we were walking in the wrong direction, and then he showed us the map, and then we were like eh, the monorail's upstairs? and then we came up with random crap about how we should just swim to sentosa, or hop on the cruise going to whoknowswhere to get to sentosa. anyway yeah random rubbish, until vanessa came and very impactfully said that there was a shuttle bus to rasa sentosa. then we shut up and noticed that mr lim had already inched away from our throng and disappeared into thin air. But moments later when the shuttle bus arrived he reappeared behind our throng so yay we had a mr lim on our bus. HAHA.
Anyway Mr & Mrs Lau were so sweet yesterday omg, PB and PSB were totally making all the weird background sound effects AWWwwwWWWww and waAAAAHHhhhh and everything along those lines (:D) it became super hilarious hahahah, and the number of students at the ceremony kind of exceeded the number of other guests haha, so when bride and groom exchanged rings/kissed/were pronounced man and wife there was this characteristic rgs cheering xD which was very loud and encouraging yes? :D but yupyupyup they are such a sweet couple :D congrats mr and mrs lau! and for the sad bunch who don't know who mrs lau is, you are Slow, but don't worry you'll know in time to come heheheh. Fedele's present of the matching shirts is so super cool aww and we told them to wear it everyday. HOHOHO.
okay I have finished blogging about yesterday and I need to go to the toilet now and then I shall set off for exciting SMP :D
#411 (my beloved sec4 class!)
Just now when I was walking home from dinner I had the most complex thought ever. On my left came the sound of stupendous cheers and loud raucous laughter with murmurs of "merry christmas" -makes us wonder why silent night was ever called silent- , and on my right, about just 10 metres away on the road, came the loud wailing of an ambulance rushing past.
So at that very moment, two families had a stark contrast in emotions. One family barbecuing their honey glazed chicken, and the other anxious for another sound from a loved one. Always been amazed at how different any two persons could be feeling at one point in time, whether the two persons are kilometres or continents apart/ just facing each other. Sigh, it sounds like how one person could be basking in the warmth and love from a reunion, whilst another person just feels absolutely alone.
Christmas is here to visit in about an hour. Didn't even bother to get a little christmas tree or a sock this year, maybe sometimes our wishes are best kept in the heart and not on paper. Anyway I wish for the same thing every year. Not a materialistic kind of person hohoho. Yo Santa, could you grant me something intangible? Like when I say I wish for happiness it doesn't mean I want two full sheets of smiley stickers.

Xianyue chalet was good (: better than I thought it would be anyway, although the chalet was basically a hotel room (yes, that size) and a wee bit puny, it was nice and cosy and very awesome (: and if we ran out of stuff we could walk a little and go to the shops next to wildwildwet, because costa sands downtown east is INSIDE wildwildwet. (and next to escape!) so cool right :D most of the time was spent on TV and cards (hahaha, STRESS!) and sometimes food, and we had to go back to school for ccao rehearsal on the 22nd, but it was fun rushing to places together haha, and omg, I think the barbecue was awesome. We had EDIBLE food :O the sausages and chicken wings actually tasted nice okay.
on the first day there was a slight problem that involved daddy rushing down from work (sorry dad D:) to help us check in, after which we very happily got into the chalet room and found a non-working TV, and soon after claudiawenyiyifeishiyun came! (: tiffanygui came in only to start a whole bout of taptap with dengyue I think, or was it koshae. ahwell, then after we managed to get the technician to come over we just watched some korean show thingthing on TV (it was translated into chinese as usual) and went out for dinner! and tiffygui and I had such an interesting encounter omg, some zi lian dude actually thought tiff was trying to take a photo of her? and she got her poor little friendfriend to come and beseech tiff to delete that photo which was very unfortunately tainted by her pretty face.
and then tiff and I decided to ignore some very excitingly annoying people and go buy our u-mian, afterwhich resulted in too much laughter from weiting and the both of us and in the end we still didn't burst our eggs together. I don't think I burst mine leh! -prods tiff- DID I?
aiyah anyway my bowl of noodles looked new and untouched :D

people who stayed over on 21st would know that I was the only guai one who got some sleep and the rest slept at 6.40 -.- LOUSY, and we had to go off to school for ccao rehearsal and we were almost late can. and nina came back :D wheeee. but we still ended up without a conductor... quite worrying hopefully we can do it! okay what am i saying, WE CAN DO IT (: and 22nd was MR YANG'S BIRTHDAY I met yvonne in school and told her about it only to see her emitting some scream of sorts before telling me to meet her at the classtray, which never materialised until we met in the canteen -.- and we actually went to try and call him but no, "what would a math teacher be doing in school on this godforsaken day!" -says yvonne- but no worries yvonne, I sent him a fb message (would you please go get an account!!) with both our names heheh. ohman sad, mr yang's confirmed teaching sec3 ):
so after ccao rehearsal xianyue went out for sectional lunch and then we all went off to chalet together (: there was quite a number of us leh, so happy :D me koshae weiting liuxu tangxiao vanessa dengyue edina, and chenxi and tiff came later (: ahhh so happy.
on the night of 22nd (about 9pm-ish?) tiffy koshae chenxi and I were sitting at the stone tables downstairs and talking about nonsense like siblings and seniors and blahh and then we went up to watch The Mentalist which is officially tiffygui's favourite show (??) but yes I think its quite cool :D BUT, I prefer houseMD :D and after The Mentalist daddy and mummy sent me and tiffy home at around 11plus whooo. got home around 11.40 and had to eat tangyuan because it was dongzhi, and glutinous stuff is extremely filling i couldn't really finish the 6 tangyuans, but I had to eat them all so I took a horribly long time, and still had to check email for the latest deployment. so I slept at 1.30am. bleh.
I look forward to another xianyue outing sometime :D
ah okay yesterday was reporting day!
reported in school at 7am T__T damn tired please, only 5hours of sleep ._. but reporting day went quite well I guess? (: but the canteen rafflesian sales booth was quite phail in the morning because all the parents were busy being typical singaporeans (:D no offence :D) and buying their books and getting transport services... and beatrix, debbie, sarahtan, evanseah would know about this indecent-looking woman... ahh shan't say more I get disgusted at the thought of her miniskirt. There I said it.
sometime sometime i met caixiaohan and both of us helped mr desouza carry !bionotes! into the staffroom, huge stacks of them, have fun sec ones :D we met mr lee in the GO lol, huge reaction when he saw me because apparently he ran into people he knew everywhere. and he still says he doesn't know if he's our ft next year :/ but he's teaching sec4... ohman. then I went to kaypoh the childcare registration haha, and mr xu tried to pass off as a 12 year old to sign up for services -.- and I wonder why I have some permanent look that announces "I'M NOT OKAY!!!!" gahhh.
morning uniform booth decided to become afternoon uniform booth because so many people came and everything dragged. but ahwell debbie and I officially feel like elephants because we were in charge of the room for sizes XS and S, and the kiddos who came in were either small or extra small, so we felt gargantuan. can't blame us right? :/

I'm sorry, but I really want to say that I am very, extremely, utterly, totally, super(califragilisticespialidocious?)bly disappointed in you. I never thought that after __________, you'd actually do such a thing to me. I am very hurt, and at the same time very amazed that you actually had the heart to do that. Have you got some conscience?
I guess you do have some conscience, otherwise you wouldn't have ____ but total bs I don't think I'd want to believe whatever you say, unless what you say is backed up by others. I cannot reveal that much here, but all I hope is that you actually feel bad, and for a long time too. Don't blame me for being/seeming heartless, because I think you deserve some troubles for awhile. I know I owe a lot to you, and that is why I still have respect.

STOP GASPING.
NPVC is officially over and I'm only glad it's over, finally. Was not an easy journey of course, but I'm glad I learnt so much during the process of madly preparing for the comp and really, I've not practised that hard before honestly, even in P5 before IBLA, never in my life. I think I put in at least 10 hours everyday for the past week, so I'm just GLAD I can finally breathe.
Thank you for allowing me to get through quarts and semis, and though results of finals were not very encouraging I still think... heck... whatever to prizes manz, I'm already lucky enough to get past 2 rounds unscathed. (although muscle aches and migraines were common sheesh) but yes, thank you to all who had faith in me, and thank you prof the and mr ong and dr liang for all you've done.
congrats to the winners too, you yst peeps are really zai3.
I'd be lying if I said I'm not in the least disappointed, after all I was so close to a happier ending, but I'm not a sore loser and I'm not planning to be one (:
so yes okay, stressful practices are gone and I shall look forward to more sleep :D
