#376!
I found many little pri sch friends (as in from CHONGFU, not NANYANG) on facebook and was adding all of them in a frenzy (: funny how I actually am able to remember their names, and I can actually match their names to their faces! Browsing through their recent photos I suddenly realise how many years have gone past... Like even though it's only 6 years, or 8 years for some of them, everyone has changed so much. But I feel proud that we've all grown, and that I actually remember them (: Some of them don't look very different actually (: Maybe it's just the clothing!
It's funny how we write on each other's walls screaming something like "I REMEMBER YOU FROM PRI 1E" and the other person writes back with a little memory (: Like for example, shannon told me she remembers that I draw pretty balloons (?!?!). HAHA thank you shannon, if I do meet you again I'll draw you some balloons :D and you could marvel at them
again.
But then again, 6 years is a loooong time. I miss the times when we were still small, cute, innocent and very much free from most troubles of life. I miss that freedom, even though I can safely say that my life now is somewhat very fulfilling. I can remember how chongfu used to look like, and how things happened like rachelchan and I racing and tripping over the drain covers together, or how justin and teun yee always suanned chenxi xD or maybe something like the chongfu school song, I can still remember okay omg!
Even my fellow nanyang-ers have grown super alot, and I don't just mean physically hahaha the guys I met them at smp and various places and they simply tower over me, but yes we look (slightly) more mature. And everyone's prefect, student leader, creative arts programme...
All this thinking makes me feel very old, even though technically I'm only fifteen. HAIII ONLY FIFTEEN, just staring at my 9 year old cousin and chasing after him for an hour while he's riding his bike already makes me about 10 years older.
I hope I'll make full use of my life, to do meaningful things. Like Ms Karen Tan said, doing meaningful things, contributing to others' lives, making a difference. This gets me thinking about a possible future career.
HAHA AIYAH. YOU'RE NOT
THAT OLD YET.
