what does a new year mean to us.
to an aged patient, it means living to see another sunset
to a dying man, it means he's survived 365 days
to a young student, it means growing up
to an elder student, it means new responsibilities
to a graduating student, it means something new and foreign
to an undergraduate, it means "i'm almost there"
to a parent, it means "I'm getting older"
to the pigs and poultry at farms, it means "my days are numbered"
to me, it's another year of hopes, visions and dreams. happy new year (:
